Does the Pimax Crystal Light continue tracking when your controllers are behind your back? obviously there's no cameras back there but the IMUs should be able to continue for a few seconds like the Quest?

Its not Bing that provide those 3D buildings and trees its procedurally generated from the game except for few cities that have been captured with photogrametry. What you show in the video is generated by the game itself...

Im doing this trip now. My Crystal Light should arrive next week. Upgrading from G2. Rumours has it that G2 will become electronic waste with the next 24H2 windows update.

When the Pro was released, I purchased the OG Vive full kit. And only recently did I purchase the Vive Pro as an upgrade for a lot cheaper than on release. It's still my goto headset and I have yet to find anything that's worth replacing it with for my use case and preferences.

barely hitting 50fps with a 4090? Yikes! i doubt the 5090 will be DOUBLE the performance.... which means we will need a 6090 to reach 90fps. Damn.

with a combination of the top strap and counter weights can this fit snug without the face part or plastic face part to basically have no face contact held only by my upper forehead. I use my quest 2 like that and 3rd party head strap to do that with comfort for a guy who gets acne easily and the face just gets so hot enclosed with no airflow otherwise. with my quest it works great for long sessions of just siting for enjoying SBS 3D moded flat screen games or casual viewing experiences. I also have the lights off in my room and have the headset still track with inferred lamps. Im just wondering if my set up would translate to this more expensive heavier but desired upgrade to one of these sets and how compatible are these options with all models as I want to have local diming or oled and eye tracking may sway me around

It's better to buy Quest 3 than to buy this. Selling it at such a high price without the XR-2 chip is a scam. And since it is manufactured in China, quality and after-sales service are also serious problems.

I wish there was a way to use Google's photogrammetry instead of Bing's one... PG cities look great, but the quality of models and textures is still way below what Google offers on Google Earth :(

Thanks for the very informative video. No matter which platform I use I cannot view any streaming content (Netflix, Paramount+...). The main page show up but when you play the content the screen is blank but the audio is there. I'm using Chrome with graphics acceleration turned off. Any suggestions?
